Dr Onuoha holds a PhD in Cultural and Media Studies from the University of Ibadan and has previously been a visiting scholar at Columbia University. She is also actively involved in professional networks, serving as President of the International Council of Museums Nigeria and Vice President of the Commonwealth Association of Museums.
Dr Louisa Onuoha is a skilled museum professional who has, over the years, demonstrated exceptional expertise in museum education, curatorial and exhibition management. Onuoha is affiliated with the National Commission for Museums and Monuments (NCMM), Nigeria and holds the position of Assistant Director, Museum Educational Services and Training. Currently, she is a visiting fellow collaborating with Dr Ashley Coutu at the Pitt Rivers Museum, University of Oxford under the Africa Oxford Initiative (AfOx) Visiting Fellowship programme.
